STUDENT MISSION STATEMENT

1) I will come to class to have fun and develop myself in a positive manner.

2) I will constantly use my mind to increase my knowledge and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth or affect my physical health.

3) I will constantly give my best effort.

4) I will ask my parents for permission to practice my Karate at home, so they know I am practicing in a positive manner.

5) I will not use what I have learned in a bad way. Instead, I intend to use what I learn in class to better myself and others, and never be abusive or offensive.

6) I understand that the study of the Martial Arts is more than self-defense and I intend to become a better person in everything I do.

Master Link's 3 rules of concentration:

Focus your eyes-Look at whoever is speaking.

Focus your mind-Listen and comprehend what is said.

Give your best effort in everything you do!

"Without maximum effort, there is no pride or passion."
